Fits 1949-77 tubes and internals.

Ready to run with bushings and oil seals installed!

Remove the fork cap from the lower.

Install the fork tube with the internals. 

Put the nut in place and tighten it.

Put the fork cap back on the lower.

Repeat on the other lower.

Fill each leg with 7 fl oz (2.1dl) fork oil.

Done!

Assemble everything and make sure the wheel axle sits flush to the outer side of the lower. Tighten the cap bolts to lock the axle in place.

Tighten the cap bolts to a snug fit on the other side. Everything should still be able to move but with some friction. Tighten the axle bolt to set the hub preload.

When the preload is all set and you can't feel any sideways play, tighten the cap bolts and call it done!

This 3 piece kit is intended for wide glide stock axle, wheel and brake.

With the stock sleeve in the backing plate, first install the little spacer and then the split sleeve.

Assemble everything on the lower. The thicker spacer sits between the backing plate and brake tab.
